Prepare your application

TNB’s affordability guide asks for income and expenditure, assets and liabilities, at least six months’ bank statements, three months’ payslips and three years’ P7 tax certificates. Self-employed applicants need their latest tax return and one to three years’ business accounts. Other documents may be requested.

Understand your rate and costs

A Fixed Mortgage fixes the rate for a stated period. Flex tracks Bank of England Base Rate. Review your offer, fees and conditions with the team before deciding.

Thinking about an overpayment?

Flex permits unscheduled partial repayments without a penalty. Full repayment carries an administration fee. Ask the team to confirm the charges and terms for your own mortgage.
