How Do TNB Deposits Work?

Compare terms, understand access to your money and plan for maturity.

Choose your deposit

01

Fixed Term Deposit: from £10,000, for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months.

02

Horizon Deposit: from £50,000, for 2 or 3 years.

03

You must be a TNB client. Speak to our team to agree the amount, term and rate.

Can the rate change?

The fixed-deposit rate stays the same throughout the agreed term. Current-account interest is variable.

Can I access or add money?

You cannot add to or withdraw from a Fixed Term Deposit after it starts. If you need access before maturity, contact our team.

What happens at maturity?

The balance and accrued interest go to your current account. Renewal requires an instruction in the original request or notice to our team three days before maturity.

What if I need instant access?

A current account offers access without notice, subject to its terms.

Deposit protection

Eligible deposits are protected by the Gibraltar Deposit Guarantee Scheme up to £120,000 per depositor at the bank, across accounts and currencies. Read the scheme information and conditions.
