How Does a TNB Personal Loan Work?

Understand eligibility, application stages and repayments before you decide.

What can a loan cover?

TNB lists purposes such as a car, home improvements or education costs. Repayments are monthly over an agreed term, usually one to ten years.

Who can apply?

Applicants must be Gibraltar residents in established, stable local employment. TNB assesses income and expenditure, assets and liabilities, financial circumstances and borrowing history.

Your application, step by step

01

Discuss your needs, borrowing options, required documents, costs and repayment plans.

02

Review your personalised meeting summary, fees, interest rate and pre-contract information.

03

Submit your application and documents. If approved, review and sign the facility letter and terms before drawdown.

What happens after approval?

The published journey states approval is valid for three months. Once the documents are signed and drawdown is completed, the loan is credited to your account.

Understand what you’ll repay

An approved loan comes with a payment plan for the agreed term. Review the interest rate, fees and full repayment commitment. The overall rate can change with Bank of England Base Rate.
